Context:

Polyclinique Bordeaux Nord, a renowned healthcare facility in the Aquitaine region, offers a comprehensive range of healthcare services to its patients. Within this facility, the Ambulatory Service plays a strategic role in meeting the objectives set by the Regional Health Program Nouvelle-Aquitaine (2018-2028), which aims to develop outpatient care. It is in this context that an innovative installation has been implemented to improve the patient journey.

Installation:

The installation is driven by the Orion software suite in SaaS mode across the two floors where the Ambulatory Service is located. It is combined to a Stela kiosk on each floor to handle patient reception and identification. After using their health insurance card to identify themselves, patients have the choice of different ticketing modes, including the traditional paper ticket, text notification, or a digital ticket scanned via a QR code on their smartphone. This flexibility allows patients to select the mode that suits them best and simplifies the waiting process by notifying them either through the screen, by text, or smartphone notification.

Benefits:

This modern installation offers numerous advantages for patients and the staff at Polyclinique Bordeaux Nord. First, it improves the patient experience by reducing waiting times, providing clear information, and guiding them precisely. This helps to increase patient satisfaction and makes their journey more pleasant.

Furthermore, the installation of the Orion software suite allows more efficient management of patient flows by optimizing resources at the reception. This enables reception staff to focus more on patient consultations rather than managing flow direction or conflict resolution regarding patient order.
