Context

A1 Telekom Austria is the market leader in fixed and mobile telephony in Austria with no less than 7.1 million customers. To welcome them, 34 stores have chosen our solutions and other installations are to come.

Installation

By using the Smartwait ™ solution, the brand has chosen a multi-channel reception that begins on the internet and continues in stores.

Thus, the customer can see the actual wait time in stores and make an appointment from the brand’s website. Once in the store, the customer he checks-in on the Diseo™ TS kiosk. He collects a ticket to be called later, on one of the video screens installed in the store.

The customer who has not made an appointment also goes to the Diseo ™ terminal. On his screen he selects the purpose for his visit: telephone, internet, TV, smart home, customer service, other. Then, he gets a ticket before being called.

Benefits

Making appointments helps avoid long queues that scare clients away. Once the ticket is taken, customers are free to browse the shopping area while waiting to be called making the wait active to see the products in the store.
