New reception module
New features are available in the latest version of the reception module:
Selecting the ticket type when identifying an appointment
When a visitor with an appointment arrives, the pre-reception agent can select the type of ticket to issue to them. As a reminder, the available ticket types (paper, SMS, or digital) are configured at the reception workstation.
Printing a ticket for informational purpose
The information ticket is printed when the visitor is directed or the interview is closed.
New adjustments and optimizations
- Fields update during automatic calls
- Improved display of waiting times
- Correct display of visitor information for those who took a ticket at the kiosk
- Closing interviews on connected workstations when the location closes
- Display of custom fields in the list, event for same-day appointments
- Custom fields are retained after visitor information is modified
- Purposes of visit entered are retained after visitor information is modified
- The current page is retained after switching workstations
- Default phone prefix based on the location group
- Search limited to appointments for today
- No digital ticket issued for a second visitor direction
- Handling of multiple directions without closing the interview
- Refresh without changing the workstations status following the “F5” action

Purposes of visit allowed in multiple appointment configurations
You can now allow a purpose of visit to be used in multiple appointment configurations.
Purpose configuration
This setting is configured in the “Reception” tab of the purpose of visit.
A change to a purpose’s configuration propagates to existing future time slots.
New configurations are added only if:
- they are compatible with the group’s opening
- the purpose of visit is left without an active configuration, even though it was not “closed”
This prevents the unintentional opening of a purpose of visit without prior validation.
Appointment slot configuration
This configuration is set directly at the time slot level in the agenda.
API
The list of configurations for a purpose of visit can be retrieved via the “PurposeConfig” object in the “getPurposeList” API.
Deleting an appointment configuration
When a configuration is deleted, any purposes of visit left without a configuration are automatically no longer available for appointments and will no longer appear for future time slots.

Multi-account management with a single login ID
It is now possible to manage multiple accounts using a single login ID.
Users then have full access rights to the various modules of the accounts linked to them.
Linked accounts can be accessed via a drop-down list on the Orion home page, allowing you to easily switch between them.
This feature is implemented exclusively by ESII and requires a “manager” license for each account.
For now, it only works with users who are not using SSO.

Other new features
Linking a printer and a LCD display to a workstation
Go to Administration > Reception workstations and select the printer and/or display to link to the relevant workstation.
Identification by name and display of the “Name” field on the kiosk
Identifying an appointment by name is no longer dependent on the “Name” field being displayed on the kiosk.
Event registration on the kiosk
“Event registration” kiosks now allow users not only to view upcoming events, but also to register for them directly.
