Context
In Lorient, the maternity service of the hospital counted 2551 births in 2018. To improve the comfort of the patients this service installed an interactive kiosk to receive them.
Installation
The PC less queue management solution eGestat™ has been selected. A Diseo™ kiosk allows the patient to select between 3 purposes of the visit: emergency, appointment or birth formalities. Then the patient receives a numbered ticket. When it’s his turn, he is informed of the box where he has to go to, on a 42’’ video screen.
Benefits
The positive effects of this installation have been seen quickly with a decrease of the wait and the respect of the running order.
