Context
Located in the province of Granada, in Andalusia, the city of Motril has a population of just under 60,000 residents.
In order to ensure a consistent reception experience for all citizens visiting its facilities, the City Hall undertook a modernization of its public reception services, with the support of ESII Ibérica.
Solution
The City of Motril chose to deploy the Orion queue management solution across its two public reception sites.
At both locations, citizens are welcomed by a Stela kiosk, allowing them to select the purpose of their visit or to identify themselves if they have a prior appointment. They are then directed to one of the service desks via a video call display.
Benefits
This setup provides a smooth and consistent reception experience for citizens, whether they arrive with or without an appointment.
The order of service is clear and transparent, preventing conflicts between walk-in visitors and those with appointments, and contributing to a calmer and more efficient reception environment.
