A City Hall committed to Inclusion

After four years of using the eSirius™ solution, Trappes City Hall has decided to migrate to the SaaS Orion solution. The project – led by Malik Bidois, Head of the Main Reception Center – is part of a public policy focused on inclusion and accessibility.

Mr. Malik Bidois explains:

As a visually impaired person myself, it was important to me that accessibility might be a key factor in the choice of solution. The Trappes City Hall, whose inclusion is at the heart of its actions, and more specifically the mayor, who entrusted me to pilot and oversee this project in its entirety, aims to offer each visitor a favorable reception environment.

A installation accessible to everyone

The Orion solution natively integrates the necessary accessibility options for people with disabilities. The kiosks and software combine consistent hardware construction (kiosk height, sound output, etc.) and interface adapted to the visitor (RGAA, high contrast, etc.).

In his testimonial, Mr. Malik Bidois continues:

Thus, through voice synthesis or digital signage, visitors with visual or hearing disabilities enjoy a pleasant and inclusive experience when they enter our venues. With the digital ticket we have implemented, visitors once again have access to more suitable technology because it integrates seamlessly with their smartphones. The feedback has been positive; our top priority was the elimination of stress while citizens wait. Indeed, the fear of not seeing or hearing their ticket called at the counter could, in the past, generate anxiety.

Ease for the teams

The impact of the solution is also felt by the city hall teams. The ease of use of the solution, coupled with more relaxed visitors, allows work to proceed in better conditions.

Mr. Malik Bidois’s also says:

For the teams, the solution has also brought relief, as a well-directed user allows for a more relaxed start to interviews.
However, the ergonomics offered remain easy to understand, including for the agent interface. As the only administrator of the software, I have very little difficulty configuring or adjusting the solution. Also, technical support as well as the designated contact during deployment are readily available if needed or to relay our questions and suggestions.
