Accessibility: a reception designed for everyone

A visually impaired visitor who needs to take a ticket, a wheelchair user at a kiosk, someone who isn’t comfortable with digital tools: everyone should be able to complete their visit on their own. Ahead of European Disability Employment Week, ESII is a reminder that accessibility is built into its visitor management solutions from the design stage, not added later as an option.

One welcome, many ways in

No two people use a kiosk or an interface the same way. That’s why ESII solutions offer several ways to interact, adapted to each situation:

  • Getting to the screen: kiosks and interfaces designed for people with reduced mobility.
  • Reading the information: voice synthesis, braille and tactile devices for people who are blind, visually impaired or have reading difficulties.
  • Understanding announcements: automatic transcription for people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
  • Interacting without touching the screen: voice control as an alternative to touch.

On the software side

ORION, ESII’s SaaS platform, was designed to meet the requirements of the RGAA, France’s official digital accessibility standard, and its Orion Rendez-vous module is 100% compliant.

With Twavox, support goes beyond the front desk: people with hearing or visual impairments can access audio content directly on their smartphones in cinemas, theaters, stadiums and conference rooms.
